QuraeshiA long-time Boston resident born in Pakistan, Samina Quraeshi is an author, designer, speaker and artist inspired by the Sufi traditions of South Asia. Her paintings, lithographs, serigraphs and collages offer meditations on the Sufi traditions of the Indus Valley. Her recent book, “Sacred Spaces: A Journey with the Sufis of the Indus,” includes essays by Harvard scholar Ali Asani. She has lectured at the Asia Society, Columbia University, and the Miami Art Museum, and recently exhibited her work at Harvard’s Peabody Museum.
