WASHINGTON, September 12, 2012 – On Saturday, Sept. 15, AIC’s Executive Director Zainab Al-Suwaij will speak as part of a panel on the Arab Spring held at The Gathering, a Christian charity conference.

The four-day conference is an annual event hosted by The Gathering, a Christian organization that seeks to connect and inform philanthropists. Various panels and seminars featuring a wide variety of speakers are offered to educate givers on the potential efficacy of their contributions.
The panel titled: “Re-examining the Arab Spring: Can the Ideals that Sparked Revolution Make a Comeback?”

- Nina Shea, Director, Center for Religious Freedom, Hudson Institute, Washington, D.C.;
