The University of Illinois at Chicago’s School of Public Health posted a summary abstract of AIC’s Ambassadors for Peace Project in Iraq, which wrapped up in December 2013. It highlights the successful model used by AIC on the ground as developed by UICSPH’s CeaseFire to mitigate violent conflicts. A recent report by the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations praises the A4P program, citing: “proven results have made fans out of the Mayor, prominent tribal sheiks, and other community leaders.”
