BOSTON, May 29, 2012 – AIC commissioned Boston jazz fusion group DÜNYA to compose a signature musical piece for the AIC Center. DÜNYA, a nonprofit organization concerned with developing and learning about world music, is directed by Mehmet Ali Sanlikol. The group has preformed at the AIC Center on previous occasions, but this concert was special because of the debut of the special composition dubbed “Palindrome.”
