WASHINGTON, February 20, 2013 – The American Islamic Congress (AIC) is pleased to announce that Executive Director Zainab Al-Suwaij has joined the Center for Catholic-Jewish Studies’ International Interreligious Advisory Committee. The Committee will guide and advise the Center on international and religious issues and further peaceful relations between world religions. As a member of the International Interreligious Committee Al-Suwaij will offer her unique perspective on the Middle East and her substantial experience in interfaith dialogue. The Center for Catholic-Jewish Studies at Saint Leo University is a non-profit organization that promotes respect and understanding among Jews and Catholics by providing opportunities for interfaith dialogue.
