BOSTON, July 16, 2013—AIC Boston Center held a European Iftar. Zainab al-Suwaij, AIC Executive Director attended the event and meet with several key New England Interfaith Council members.

Members of the following communities came to the Iftar:  Turkish, Tatar, Egyptian, Bosnian, American, Pakistani, Indian, Jewish, Peace Corps volunteers, and many more.

The Iftar featured:

– Sevdah (traditional Bosnian music) by Fuad Agic

– Traditional Tatar folklore dancing by Tatars of Boston Bayram Group

– Delicious Bosnian, Turkish, Albanian, Macedonian, Tatar (and many more) treats
