SAN DIEGO, April 16, 2012 – Today San Diego State chapter of Project Nur celebrated Mimouna, the holiday after the close of Passover when Jews can begin to eat bread again.
“We want to educate people on the fact that holidays like this exist so that it reaches the awareness of the public and they understand that there is more to interfaith than they previously thought, more out there than just conflict,” Project Nur Chapter President Hashaw Elkins said.
